Mr D's is sort of a dive-ish sports bar in a really cool historic building that serves pizza, burgers, sandwiches, & the standard bar appetizers. My coworkers and I recently ate here for lunch. In an effort to support businesses downtown, we try new places as much as possible. I would say my rating would depend on what you order here, but overall it was pretty mediocre. I ordered a diet soda, which was nearly flat, and a sourdough burger cooked MW. The burger was cooked extra well, and was a little crunchy around the edges. I think it was your standard already sliced burgers that come frozen from Costco. The sourdough bread tasted good, but the burger was about 3-4 across, and the sourdough about 6 long, so I had a mouthful of bread for my first couple bites.

One of my friends ordered pizza, which she said was great, but a bit overcooked on the bottom.

Another friend ordered a veggie burger, and she said it was a good, but again a bit overcooked.

Also, the service is a wee bit slow, so if you only have an hour for lunch, make it clear that you need to order right when you walk in the door.
